the Solo summer season is over here are the results for the major points series

2nd 4410 John Townsley 24 pts
3rd 4523 Nick Clibborn 25 pts
4th 4007 Charlie Watkins 45 pts
5th 4323 Ray Baker 62 pts
6th 3975 Micheal Tiley 62 pts
7th 4428 George Kaack 62 pts
8th 3746 Laurie Weedon 78 pts

The minor points series did not have any qualifiers @ 50% of races sailed so
the number of qualifiying races hase been droped by 5 to 8 races giving two qualifiers
results below
1st 4323 Ray Baker 50 pts
2nd 4133 Tim Deacon 155 pts

I plan to run a joint series this winter as a trial where the single race sailed will give results for both
actual results as per the summer major points series
and a personal handicap series
this is to try to encourage more of the less experienced sailors to participate
it will be interesting to see how the results pan out
