Frensham Pond Bar

Many people have asked me:

"Why isn't the bar isn't open more often?"

The answer is simple:

"The bar is open all the time during normal licencing hours! However, it isn't cost effective for me to man it all the time. Besides, I'd soon drink all the profits!"

So what do you do when the bar is unattended? Our bar is licenced as a Private Member's Club, and the beauty of this is that anyone who is over 18, and a bona-fide member of the Club, can simply serve themselves. So if the bar is unattended and you want a drink, just tell the Galley team, serve yourself and pay at the Galley. Simple.

In return, all I ask is two things:

1) Please DON'T LEAVE MONEY BEHIND THE BAR under any circumstances, or it might get pinched.
2) Wash up afterwards. Ha! You knew there was a catch somewhere!

Regards

John Marriott
