Frensham Pond Sailing Club

the Solo summer season is over here are the results for the major points series
1st 4133 Tim Deacon 13 pts

The minor points series did not have any qualifiers @ 50% of races sailed so
the number of qualifiying races hase been droped by 5 to 8 races giving two qualifiers
results below
1st 4323 Ray Baker 50 pts
2nd 4133 Tim Deacon 155 pts

I plan to run a joint series this winter as a trial where the single race sailed will give results for both
actual results as per the summer major points series
and a personal handicap series
this is to try to encourage more of the less experienced sailors to participate
it will be interesting to see how the results pan out

Peter Cook at Rutland. October 29th-30th.

Peter Cook of Frensham came second in the 2.4R class, during the two day Olympic indicator series at Rutland Sailing Club. He finished two points behind the eventual winner, World Championship Bronze Medalist, Helena Lucas. Third place went to 2004 Frensham Open winner, Megan Pascoe.

Peter has already won Frensham's 2.4 summer series. (The photogaph shows him in action at our 2.4m Open on Saturday 24th September - which Peter won in his usual 'all conquering' style.) Well done Peter! Other Frensham results can be found at http://www.rutlandsc.co.uk/results/301005_olympicindicator.htm
